my new old project, RA24 in orange
Hello everyone, I'm Dave. I'm new to the forum but not new to Celica love. this is my 6th 1st gen celica. they've all been GT and all liftbacks until now (I've also had a 2 2nd gen, 2 supra mk1's and an mk2). this particular car has been my best find to date though. pictures to follow

only plans right now are to fix the body, the little bit of rust and drive it til the 20r breaks, then who knows? and yeah there are still a few around out here but I wouldn't say they grow on trees. sorry, no pics of any of the other ones. they are all long gone parts of my past. this is my only toyota currently.

update!
the old girl is a running driving car, just took a good gas tank cleaning, a new weber 32/36 carb kit and 4 tires. I've done about 60 miles in her so far. a few things to address still, like shocks, struts and pretty much the entire suspension needs bushing replacement, that will probably tighten up the excess play in the steering as well as make the ride a little smoother. turn signals don't work and the wipers don't wipe. over all though, its a happy day
