Hello 1stGenCelica

I just got me an 77 celica GT coupe and this is mot my frist one. My frist one was a 77 celica ST coupe with an auto, back in the late 90's. Now that I have new 77 I'll be making up for lost time .. back in the 90's I always wanted to see the 77 with an V8 under the hood. yes I'm look to do a ls400 swap in a year or two. My plan is to get the new 77 up and driving for my DD car so I can start work on the Mk2, Its time to get the supra in to the body shop :D so how about some photos

had just got it back home

Stock steering wheel looks to be in decent shape, may just need a leather wrap around the outside and the center piece if you don't still have it. Keep it! Off and on I've looked for a replacement steering wheel, something that doesn't look after-market and a bit more modern. I don't think you can beat the stock GT steering wheel for looks.

Keep up the progress pics, we love that stuff!

yea the wheel looks good .. thinking, I will send it off soon to have re-wrap but for now I'll keep the supra wheel on.
Also for some updates, I have some friends show up with parts :D

So Mark and Rusty help find that I points where off, so Mark had an Electronic Distributor with Ignition Coil to go with it. so we swap that in and hit the key and fired right up :woot:

so after that we went and played with the supra's

Welcome

Lots of new members from WA. Hopefully next year when they have that Puget Sound Toyota meet all the new people will be there, and I can get my car back on the road to come down.
