hey there, names Jay and i live in victoria BC CANADA.
i am more into old hot rods but my wife likes the early toyotas. i picked up a 74 peanut for here afew months ago and have been slowly working on it. then last weekend i picked up a 72 celica that i once owned before.
both are drivers and a blast to drive.
the celica is going in my shop this weekend to get started on. plans are to lower it, wheels, body, and paint. it will be all flat black, with all the trim and vents in a semi gloss black. i will maybe keep the bumpers chrome.
might make some strut braces and clean up the interior.
it also needs a exhaust.
what muffler sounds best with the stock motor, would like it to sound abit throaty. and was size exhaust tube do you guys use?
thanks
J

Welcome Jay! I have 3" for my RG. Most people here will tell you it's too big for an n/a motor, but I like it. Most run a 2.25" and 2.5" back to various mufflers. I really like DynoMax SuperTurbos because there isn't much farting coming out of it.
