Hey, it's Crash

Post by Crash1976 »

many of you know me from the other site. It seems there is little traffic over there...don't know why but I thought I'd try and see where you guys are all hanging out now....in the internet world that is.

Been slacking on my 74 for a while but I'm starting to get re-energized here lately and can't wait to get back on my project.

Currently it's in pieces but soon that will not be the case.

don't know if I should start a project thread here or not.

Currently the plan is to finish the restoration and drive the car, I don't want it sitting and rotting away in the garage.

Performed Mods include: Shaved front and rear side markers and wipers. Filled all the holes from the vinyl top, side molding and all badging. I am currently finishing up the 20/22r hybrid motor. The bottom end is done with new stock internals no reman parts were used, with .50mm over Keith Black Pistons. The head has been fully ported and polished. I just need to have it surfaced and cut the valve seats and it's ready to bolt on with a mild TRD cam, Weber 38 DGAS, headers, LCE Pro distributor and a MSD coil and 6A box. Once it's running I can take it to the body shop for finishing the paint.
