Hi I'm Josh I'm 31 Years old and I live in socal (VictorVille, Ca) I do not have a 1stgen Celica YET. My grandma is 92 years old and she has a 76 Celica GT and shes has taken really great care of it besides when my grandpa was alive he used the interior carpet to put greasy parts on other than that its all OEM!!! She says it needs a new Carburetor and a fuel pump. She replaced the fuel pump already and just needs a Carburetor and I dont know where to get one at and at a good price? I am on this forum to get to know you guys and pick your brains a little bit to see if the car is worth buying and if so how much should I offer her for it? And how much $ will I need to sink into it to get it from stock to ROCK? I am currently in Afghanistan and will be returning home in Sept 2012. I will keep any ideas open because I want to use this car to remember my Granparents and also to make it a project car. Any tips would be much appreciated

Welcome to the forum Josh. Keep yourself safe out there! Sounds like a good car except for grandpa's greasy carpet which can be cleaned up. Should be pretty easy to get a rebuilt carb or a carb kit there's lots of em listed. You might want to buy a 32/36 weber and shove that in for instant performance improvement. As for price??? Be nice to Granny so your the best grandson on the planet!
