Actually, I didn't know that Celica Gen 1st do has a liftback version until I have seen it at my friend garage. I decided immediately after I heard its nick name "Celica Mustang". I am once own 1994 ford Mustang during went to graduated school in mid-west USA.
During past few years, I got impress with two yellow American Muscle Car.One is Bumble Bee Camaro from Transformer movie. Second, 1970 Boss Marck2 Mustang.Then, I plan to build my liftback accordingly.

I will try to use more decorated parts from american Muscle car & putting V8 engine (1UZ) by getting more American taste. I gave this project's name "Yellow Apple Celica" according to my wife nick name 'Apple". I will post the progress in next post.

I am found this gas cap of Elenore (name of 1969 Mustang Fastback) is very stunning from movie name "Gone in the 60 second" I plan to replace it.
All interior I will try to remain the major design of the original but I will added more parts from Billet Specialties
Steering wheel is a half wrap. Steering column is also very slick look which can tile up & down. Which could upgrade quality of interior.
This aircraft Panel from American Instrument Model "Bomber Brezel" will creadted a aircraft crockpit feel to my project.
Billet Specialties Parts is high quality aluminum pieces which could create a nice touch than plastic as the original is.
All the Vinyl will be replaced by the high quality cow Leather & Crocodile. Use this lamp instate of original one.
