Re: Hey from N Ireland
Progress! Struggled with that one a little as there isn't an option to resize on Imgur if you're using the app on a phone, but found this simple workaround that looks to have done the trick: you want to show an image on the web or anywhere else from imgur.com but the image is too large in size, you...

Re: Hey from N Ireland
I remember seeing this car on the forum. Congratulations! Now comes the question, what plans do you have for this Car? Also, you can go and edit the size of the pictures that you post. Suggestion is take the larger size and change it to 1024 x ___. If you change the larger number it will automatical...

Re: 1977 Asian carb problems
I cleaned both carbs with cans of carb cleaner spray and checked for blocked passages. I disassembled both and did adjustments. The only adjustments are float level and idle screw. The float level is at the top of the dot on the glass. Both carbs idle too lean. (if I block 90% of air with my hand, ...

Re: 1977 Asian carb problems
I had no luck moving parts from "rich" to "lean"carbs. Still cruises "bumpy". I need to revisit the "rich" carb and verify that it runs smooth. Maybe it does not, now. I suspected ignition problems but changed plugs and checked wires with an ohmmeter. Besides...

Re: 1977 Asian carb problems
Subject: 1977 Asian carb problems My stock liftback was getting 23 MPG and running rich. I could block open the choke on a cool morning and it ran good. I bought a used carb on ebay and it runs too lean while cruising (rough and bumpy). Full power is smooth and idle is smooth. Both carbs idle lean ...

Re: Hello from East Bay Area
I've had two classic Celicas. The first I got in high school, I traded a graphing calculator and $50 for it (this was almost 15 years ago before everyone went crazy for them and you could still get one for almost nothing). I had it for a few years when it was hit by a drunk driver while parked in m...

Re: Hello from Oakland
Performance options is a place that you need to stop by in your area, if they are still around , they have most of the technical support, information and parts that you may require. I was recently back in Oakland and failed to stop past that business, so any updates on your build will be great. Welc...

The Vengeance and Rex, It was a pleasure to have met you today, your car is outstanding, nice, clean, and a great example to represent the forum. The event was great, the folks were cool people and look like you have become a part of a successful group of Gear-heads. I will await the official photos...
